How RoboticsLibrary.com handles personal information.
This page is a starting draft. It is not a substitute for legal counsel review before production launch.
What we collect
- Email address when you subscribe to the Robotics Library Brief, purchase a report, or create an account.
- Account profile information you provide (username, display name, bio, links).
- Usage analytics (page views, interactions) collected through PostHog. No personally identifying information beyond anonymous identifiers is tracked.
- Error telemetry through Sentry when the application encounters an unhandled error. Sentry collects stack traces and request metadata; we configure it to redact known sensitive fields.
- Payment information is handled directly by Stripe. We do not store card numbers, CVCs, or full bank details.
What we do with it
- Send the newsletter you subscribed to.
- Provide the account, subscription, or purchase features you signed up for.
- Improve the site by understanding which content is used and which surfaces fail.
- Respond to support requests and corrections.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it with advertisers.
Third parties
We share data with the minimum set of third parties required to operate the service:
- Supabase — authentication and database hosting
- Resend — newsletter and transactional email delivery
- Stripe — payment processing
- PostHog — product analytics
- Sentry — error monitoring
- Vercel — application hosting
Each of these is bound by their own privacy policy and data-protection commitments.
Your rights
You can:
- Unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the link in every issue, or from your account preferences page.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing privacy@roboticslibrary.com.
- Request a copy of the data we hold about you by writing to the same address.
Cookies
We use cookies for authentication (Supabase) and for product analytics (PostHog). Both are strictly necessary or strictly opt-in respectively.
